This past week was all about tough matches for the Lo-Ma volleyball team.

The team knew it was going to be a tough week going into it, said Lo-Ma Head Coach Faith Bruck.

Against Tri-Center Oct.1, the Lady Panthers lost 3-1. Those scores were (Lo-Ma first) 24-26, 18-25, 25-22 and 20-25.

“It was good volleyball though and fun to watch the passion these girls play with,” Bruck said.

Digs for the night were spread out amongst the team.

Lo-Ma senior Jaice Johnsen had 18 while teammates Emilie Thompson and senior Kylie Morrison had 16 digs and 15 digs, respectively.

At Underwood this past Thursday, despite a rough first set, Lo-Ma ended up winning three sets to one.

Those finals were (Lo-Ma score first) 13-25, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-22.

Overall, the Lady Panthers are 15-6 and 4-2 in the Western Iowa Conference.

Logan-Magnolia is currently tied for third place with Underwood in the Conference behind Tri-Center and Treynor.
