LOGAN — The Logan- Magnolia girls won pretty handily, 7-1, in the first game of their doubleheader against Riverside on Thursday, June 7.
However, their second game started off a little rocky as the Lady Panthers gave up three runs in the top of the first.
Two errors by Riverside allowed them to score two runs in the bottom half of the first. And Lo-Ma would score three more in the bottom of the second inning.
The Lady Panthers broke it open in the fourth inning with three more runs. They went on to win 10-4.
Sophomore Reanna Rife picked up the win. She improved her overall record to 7-1.
Head Coach Trent Kuhl commented that he has been happy with the team’s performance so far. “Our pitching has been doing well holding teams to very few runs,” he said.
