DES MOINES — It is Day Two and one Panther wrestler still has a zero in the loss column.

Heading into Day Two today, February 15, of the 2019 IHSAA Traditional State Wrestling Tourney in Des Moines, three of four State qualifiers from Logan-Magnolia School and three of four from Missouri Valley School are still in the hunt, hoping to capture first place in their weight classes.

Of those six wrestlers, one is still undefeated, Briar Reisz, a sophomore from Logan-Magnolia, who wrestles in the 126-lb. weight class.

He still has that perfect record, so far, after beating Tristen Jessen, a freshman from Woodbury Central, TF 20-5, in the opening round.

Reisz faces Michael McClelland, a sophomore from Don Bosco, in this next round.

Last year as a freshman, Reisz went to State and came home with a second place finish in the 113-lb. weight class.
