LOGAN — After a successful outing at the May 26 tournament, Lo-Ma continued their winning streak by walloping Missouri Valley by a final of 13-1 on May 29 and Abraham Lincoln 15-0 the following evening.

Between the two games, the Lady Panthers had 28 hits, including nine for extra bases. And sophomore Reanna Rife hit a homerun in the Missouri Valley game.

Abbie Carlson extended her win streak to four and pitched five innings against MV where she struck out 10 batters.

On the season, she is 5-1 and has struck out 40 batters. Her current ERA is 1.66.

It was hits and runs galore in Lo-Ma’s game against Abraham Lincoln. Seniors Kenzie Cunard, Megan Wilson and Abbie Carlson as well as Erikah Rife each hit a double in the game.

Sophomore Reanna Rife pitched a shutout game. She struck out twelve batters and only walked one. The Lady Panthers’ winning streak ended with a 5-7 loss to IKM-Manning.

Rife was on the mound again and allowed seven runs on eight hits in six innings. Lo-Ma is currently 7-2 on the year and 3-2 in the Western Iowa Conference standings.
