Area student-athletes were recently presented with various honors in baseball and softball.
The Logan-Magnolia Panthers and Woodbine Tigers baseball teams both suffered the same fate at their respective IHSAA Class 1A District Championships.
WOODBINE -- Both the Logan-Magnolia and Woodbine baseball teams really battled it out and until the end in the last game of the regular season for both teams July 8.
LOGAN -- Kylie Morrison, from Logan-Magnolia High School, has been selected to serve on the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

DES MOINES -- Three wrestlers from Logan-Magnolia and Missouri Valley placed in the top three in their weight classes at the IHSAA State Traditional Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines this past weekend, February 14-16.

Both the Logan-Magnolia and Woodbine football teams fell in their season openers last night, August 24. Treynor beat the Logan-Magnolia Panthers by a final of 28-7. The Woodbine Tigers got beat 70-40 by Kingsley Pierson.
