Patricia Ann Leonard, 87 of Omaha, formerly from Woodbine, died on December 20, 2018 at the Rose Vista Nursing Home after a short illness.

She was born on June 21, 1931, in Harrison County, Iowa to parents Burton and LaVica (Steuart) Leonard.

She was raised in Woodbine, attended South Whitesboro Country School through the eighth grade and graduated from Woodbine High School with the Class of 1949.

After one year working in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she returned to western Iowa and then went to work for Baird Holm Attorneys at Law for 45 years.

Patricia was a member of the Executive Women’s International. She loved to travel, shop and read. She also enjoyed needlepoint and knitting. Pat was baptized and a member of the First Central Congregational Church in Omaha, Neb.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Daniel Wayne Leonard; nieces, Kaye Linda Foutch and Kathy (Foutch) French; and special friend, James Undeland.

She is survived by her brother, Ronald Leonard and his wife Elizabeth of Galena, Illinois; two sisters, Mary Jane Foutch of Woodbine, Iowa and Betty and her husband Michael Ringstad of Missouri Valley, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, to whom she was a very special aunt, and friends in the Omaha, Neb. area.

Graveside services were held at the Woodbine Cemetery on May 26, 2019, as per her wishes. Fouts Funeral Home of Woodbine is in charge of the arrangements.
