WOODBINE -- An individual walked into 514 Walker Street, NuStyle Development in Woodbine, at around 10:50 a.m. December 12, allegedly interacted with an employee there and pulled a weapon. He would eventually flee the scene, according to authorities.
Richard Green, 46 years old of Harlan, was apprehended in Harlan. He's being booked into the Harrison County Jail for robbery in the first degree and multiple other charges are pending.
Minor injuries were reported. The Woodbine School District was in lockdown for a period of time. A letter to the parents stated, "Employees immediately cleared the outside perimeter of the building, including playgrounds. Students were sent to safe areas inside the building. Doors were checked to ensure they were locked and secure."
Green was arrested shortly after the lockdown went into effect and school "returned to its normal routine," the District said.
