MISSOURI VALLEY -- All Harrison County veterans and their family members, and the general public, are invited to take part in a special ceremony during the week of the 2019 Harrison County Fair.
It will be a chance for the community to come together to honor and pay tribute to two local veterans for their past military service and crown them as Harrison County Veteran King and Queen in the first annual ceremony held July 24 at 4 p.m.
The ceremony will also help raise awareness about the services offered by the Harrison County Veterans Affairs Office.
Come to the Music Tent at the Missouri Valley Fairgrounds that day, July 24, to watch it and as a way of thanking these veterans for their service.
There will be a live performance of "God Bless The U.S.A." by Mike Bonham. And the guest speaker will be Representative Steven Holt, House District 18.

Brittany Freet, director of the Harrison County Veterans Affairs Office, will be on hand to answer questions after the ceremony.
