WOODBINE — The Woodbine Main Street Annual Meeting & Community Update that was tentatively re-scheduled for June 5, has been cancelled.

This is mainly due to the ongoing concerns regarding large gatherings and the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’ve hosted a Community Meeting since 2008, and the residents and businesses have been wonderful supporters of the event,” said Deb Sprecker, executive director of the Woodbine Main Street organization since 2009. “It’s a major fundraiser for the program and sponsored projects.”

A date for the next Annual Meeting, to be held in the spring of 2021, will be released later this year.
