A grand opening and dedication of a new trail was held June 8, on a truly beautiful day to be outside!

The now open Brent’s Trail, is named after long-time forester Brent Olson whose dream was to help create a trail like this one.

And the dream came true, and the trail was named in his honor. Brent passed away in 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.

A good sized crowd showed up not only for the dedication and grand opening but to traverse the trail, which is described as “rugged backcountry.” It spans eight miles one way and offers breathtaking views of Harrison County.
